Whatever you do, I would do it in person. Fill out the application and ask for an interview at the same time. Be up front with your history. The attitude with marijuana is changing by the day. Offer to take a hair sample drug test before anything. I would go with smaller companies whose human resources people have more wiggle room. if your driving record, work record are stable and clean you have a chance. Depends on how much CDL driving experience you have. If little or none, start with driving straight jobs.

SNI will hire felons for tanker but won't hire out of my area because ... wrong ZIP code?
    That's idiotic.

It's actually 5 marijuana charges throughout the years, the most recent being in 2008, before that 2001, and in the 90's.

Hahaha well if and when you find employment, prepare for a whack of random drug tests!

I know, LOL!!! I haven't smoked in a long time and I doubt that I will start back now so, I'm willing to deal with that.

I looked into it, my cases are in Indiana and the lawyer said it would cost around $1,200 to do it for all of my cases but I don't have the money at this point.

A friend from CDL school had a 15 year old felony and SNI would not take him. He ended up working for Knight and now drives for a local construction company.

Good luck, happy to see this thread hasn't turned into a "I don't want you on the road with me" flame fest.
