And hopefully by the time it gets that bad here ill have set my brakes for the last time. This used to be fun but its too much like work now. I love what I do but between all these new regs ans other things, ill be glad when I can give it all up.

I heard truckers are going to start telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth starting Feb 1.

I heard that at the counter of the drivers section. So it MUST be true.

here is a thought: open the garage by the major highways and charge large/major companies $20-$80 more per hour than independent contractors. I do it this way any way. since the large companies are pushing for such nonsense, it is time to do the same to them.

The only benefit to the elogs is for the local, 100 miles radius, trips. Ooops, I forgot, you don't even need the log book for that and have no need for 1/2 hour brake after 8hr on duty. Elogs = more bs and more "side" programming fixes that will be done to it.

Not sure about solo driving but for team OTR driving E-logs are a blessing. They save so much time. You just worry about driving instead of playing mathematician all day.

i agree, elogs have the appeal to those who flunked the algebra in school. Elogs also appeal to the company, some o/o, drivers who enjoy being told what to do and brag about how they were able to stand up to their dispatcher because they were out of hours, after sitting for 6-8hrs.

    Joetro Thanks this.
