My insurance never asks me and I don’t make it known none of my trucks have nanny aids on them. You listen to that incessant ####ing beeping all day enough to drive you ####ing nuts. A test drive with one that has all that crap was enough to convince me otherwise. Like them #### hood mirrors. Some like them I despise that crap. Haven’t hit anything in 30+ years hope to keep it that way.
Be a selling point to me. I wouldn’t buy a truck with that ######## on it. Seen accidents caused by the nanny aids. Hitting brakes at wrong times on ice, slamming on brakes in traffic due to camera seeing a reflection or some other ########.

    I disagree.

There is a textbook case, T.J. Hooper v. Northern Barge Corp, that every law student has to read. It involves the loss of a load of coal during a storm from a barge being pulled by a tugboat. At the time radio was a brand new technology. There were a few tug boats that had radios purchased by their captains, but no companies were installing radios yet. The plaintiff argued that the tug boat company was negligent because if the boat had had a radio it would have known about the storm and would have avoided it. The court agreed and the case set a precedent. It's clearly the same precedent used by the plaintiff in the Navistar/Rush case.

This is a bad omen. Since this case settled out of court there was no precedent set for future cases. But there will be future cases.

That sounds a lot like what their reasoning was for that Werner case in Texas a couple years ago.

That case is outright theft by adjudication.

Should've been thrown out before any jury got to decide squat.

And the judge should have been thrown out with it.

I have driven with and without.

The only thing I liked was a notice if traffic was stopping quickly in front of me. My gps does that now, and I am happy to not have the finicky auto drive crap on my truck.

That's being said, I'll not buy a used truck with one that is functioning. I don't need that #### slamming on my brakes when I go under a bridge anymore.
