If you're a student just starting out you're more than likely gonna spend a while on the road training with another driver.

Truck Driving schools in NC can be as cheap as $700

And TONS of Very good companies hire drivers EVEN NEW ONES out of NC......Why go with a POS company? Your new....So what! that doesnt mean you should work for free, drive a piece of ####, or get treated like sheet

Do more then look at the front page of this website, put a little effort into your new career and go make some money.....

or 925 and 8 weeks you can call DCCC in Davidson county and be to work the monday after you graduate with a good company

well do you want to get in with a good company at a decent price?

or do you want to be impatient and end up coming back here posting about how it sucks where you ended up at and how you're stuck there for a year until you can get something better?

I had to wait to get into the class I was in too.

that's the problem with alot of this world these days. they don't want to wait for good things. and I base that comment on YOUR words......saying you don't WANT to wait that long, not that you couldn't.

everyone wants it now now now and in most cases deserve what they get for their imp[atience when there are good things out there if they took the right approach

i realize with the economy and everyone's personal situations really sucking right now that an offer of immediate employment may seem like a good thing. but, is it really? in this industry? the way most companies take advantage of and screw the drivers? no. not if you have the chance to get in with someone good.

if you HAVE to be in something right now, take a good look at the company A/T drives for. they were my second choice behind who I actually went with and will have you out there within 10 days of graduating school......and they, as well as my own company, are really the only two I haven't really heard anything negative about. drivers at both our companies on the whoile seem to be pretty happy
