    Tandems can be anywhere forward of the 40' mark. Like others have said, most truckers cruise the freeways in cali at 55 to 60 but there are area's where they will get you at that speed. But on all other roads other then freeways its best not to go over the speed limit.

    There is no requirement that tandems be all the way forward.

    The trailers I pulled when I ran a box never had any marks so I would just measure 10 feet from the back and I was fine. That was with the standard kingpin set 3 feet back from the nose.

    I heard those reeducation camps are pretty brutal, long days in the rice fields and then no restrooms,I just poop in the street.
