i know why allot of people like OTR

you will be surprised how good it really is, its not perfect but it darn close. its probably every bit as good as a $400 trucking GPS, it has all weight restricted roads and bridge clearance information. you can change all of the settings like truck height, weight by axle, width, and number of axles. the routing is spot on. the only thing you must know what town the place you are going to is. it has truck mode and car mode, car mode ignores all restrictions and routes accordingly, truck mode is well truck mode.



this video is from 2013 so i would say the product has probably improved, but it gives you the general idea. i bought a couple of windshield phone holders so its handfree. IF you do get a call it will pop up at the very top of the screen and does not effect the GPS.

first 10 days are free so what do you have to loose. i dont work for this company by the way, but i highly recommend it. it tried smart truck route and did not like the routing.

you dont need to spend $400 on a stand alone GPS, in fact when i was pricing these things out; i thought i already have a andriod device with a GPS chip but google maps is terrible for trucking, so i did a little research.

 

Awesome first paycheck 975 take home. No one has expected me to do anything I shouldn't be doing. Yesterday was cake, drive to the job and move dirt to the other end of the property. I did 34 miles all day but did 24 loads lol

 

Sygic works extremely well for me. I would have to test something new out while driving my car. The reviews for myone20 are mixed and it looks like it uses copilot mapping. I don't like copilot at all

 

You can add live traffic for a one time $19 expense I can't comment on it though because I don't have it

 

Awesome first paycheck $977 take home 1255 gross. That's more then I have made anywhere. Come to find out, when I'm on a state job I get rate. 21.69 per hour, 31 per hour after it becomes overtime. 31 bucks an hour to drive a truck, a class b for that matter. I don't think it gets any better then that

 

from my perspective being home carries far many pros. i hope your still driving locally.
