Seriously though, I like trucks. So do a lot of companies that I see...at least according to them... companies promote NEW Trucks all the time.. More times than not they claim to have the newest Trucks whatever side of the Mississippi they are located on...it sounds good to prospective customers and potential employees. But in reality the odds of getting your items delivered in a new truck or the odds of a new hire driving a new truck are very low..if at all..if these mythical trucks even exist sometimes. I have heard of promises of 20 new trucks when it was only two or three...spread out over 30+ drivers. Are there any companies that constantly have new trucks for their drivers?

JCT, They are running Orientation every week and they are running the 2014 Freightliner Evolutions these are awesome trucks, they can get up to 10 MPG. Thi is a LEASE PURCHASE which means you pay for the truck as you drive it but yes they are running NEW trucks.

No company will have 100% new trucks; it's impossible. Some do keep new and almost new trucks though. The customer couldn't care less about the truck; just pick up or deliver the freight on time and not damaged. :

    Stevens Transport
    Melton Truck Lines
    TMC
Howard Transportation (keeps pretty decent equipment)
    Tribe Transport

All of them buy new trucks, every so often. But, seriously, would you give a 50k machine to a driver who hasn't proven his loyalty and skills?

Yeah I meant like no more than 3 year old trucks.. I will look up this companies that you mentioned. As far as the customer seeing the trucks..I was thinking like they look good when you see one on the road or maybe a local delivery day cab type deal that goes from business to business.

TransAm is good about keeping new equipment. But you gotta sell your soul on a lease to get the brand new trucks. But we do have company drivers in 2009-2010 T660s and 2011 T700s.
