I dont know if its the same in California as Nevada but in Nevada you can go through the unemployment and join and they pay the school for you.

 

When do you start your CDL training?

 

Iv been in training for 2 weeks now I did not use join im self pay. But there are a few that are going through that program. I know the pay for food and there room for 4 weeks while they train. Just go down and ask what ever program your unemployment has and they will tell you . Best of luck to you

 

WIA will pay for your license. Workforce Investment Act. Hit up your local EDD office and start the process. I got my license paid for after 4 months of jumping thru hoops and basically harassing my caseworker.

 

Theres a bunch of LTL companies with terminals in santa rosa as well, such as conway freight, ups freight, estes, yrc and abf. Sme might hire with no experience, if you had your cdl before you apply.
