You call that a job?...Sounds more like you were a willing participant, and would still be had he not tossed you, in a criminal enterprise...

I really dont like this post. Just move on and dont dwell on the wrongs of that company. You said you have another job, dont talk about it to any of your new co-workers. Let this be a lesson learned, and move on.

So we can assume that all of the folks that are saying not to report the company wouldn't sue and would let "bygones be bygones" if a driver in his 20th hour of continuous service just smashed into one of your loved ones and killed them?

    Check.

Go ahead make the call. Somewhere down the road, this company will be shut down.

It would be a different story if the OP quit due to safety concerns. That isn't what happened. He was a willing participant in the actions until the time of his termination. Might as well move on, and leave this situation in the past. Making a complaint against your former employer where you willfully violated the HOS seems like you are asking for trouble.

Maybe an anonymous call to the right people would get the ball rolling.....

If I had the name of the company, I would happily make the call. That is not what I was referring to. An unsafe company operating illegally should be shut down if the concerns are found out to be true.

I will admit to being far, far from an expert on the trucking industry as I am still in driving school. But right is right and wrong is wrong no matter the industry. But I guess it depends on whose ox is being gored.......
