I hang up on those folks. No matter what the problem is, there are two people and counting that I refuse to talk to if they happen to answer the phone. If they pick up, I just go click.

1300 came and went and no door. Went back to check in and they told me that it's not their problem and that they were taking drivers with "proper appointments" and would get to me when they get to me.

I may have lost my professionalism at that point. But I'm proud of myself for keeping it PG.

Anyway I'm going to give a shout out to the person covering my ICA's board today who is out of the office.....totally had my back and got me off the load and they are gonna reschedule so I can go home for the weekend. Kudos to her...she told me she's not an ICA yet but working towards it. When she becomes one I'm requesting her.

Yeah, that's what they lead you to believe. I started keeping track of it and found the OC's are 1-2 cents higher than the nearest Pilot/FlyingJ. That's why they don't charge the $1.00 fee. You are way better off with that NASTC card.

heres a question, does schneider have any loads going to WY, maybe like Lowes in Cheyenne? I'm guessing theres not many loads going around there and if there are I'm guessing the rates are low, just curious. also when reading thru the choice threads it seems like alot of hunting for empties, screwed up appointments and customer service issues, when you read thru a thread that spans over a few yrs it can be deceiving, sometimes it seems like a lot of problems so its hard to tell how often these issues come up, some may get the impression that these issues are happening every day for a driver when reading thru months or years of threads all at once,so the question is are there that many customer service issues or mix ups or does it just appear that way when reading thru the threads. thanks and be safe.

    Very little into WY.
yes it can be that bad for all the above but not everyday. Luckily for us DOT limits the screw ups to 70 hours per driver per 8 days.

I'll address the empty issue since I don't run Wyoming so can't really help you with the market.

The empty issues don't come up all that often. Yesterday was the first time it happened where I couldn't cover a load. Now I've been here less than 3 months so take that for what it's worth but I do about 75% drop and hook so I've had a fair number of chances for it to happen.

It's more frustrating waiting for box planners to send you somewhere while your clock ticks away. And it's especially frustrating in a major city at rush hour.
