It will be out of Chicago dry van newer if that makes a difference you will be going all over the United States delivering dryvan . Well they want the insurance company required No accident No DUI no speeding tickets and at least about a year experience. And it's going to be solo. Is $0.65 a mile on that 1099 you get to keep all the money and pay taxes on your own turf

OK, we just asked if it’s a W-2 or 1099 and you said you’re a company driver and yet you’re telling us it’s on 1099...
What’s wrong with this picture ladies and gentlemen?

NOW the truth comes out. You pay your taxes outta that $00000.65, and it turns into the fitty cent range quickly.

Another question to ponder is how much of that money is being saved towards the taxes associated with 1099? Because when tax season rolls around Uncle Sam is going to take a big chunk out! And heaven help you if you end up being short, because the IRS loves to charge penalties plus interest on tax liabilities.

...not to mention Uncle Sam likes his taxes paid quarterly. And on time.

No no. He does not "like" them paid on time. He demands it, and will use the point of a weapon if you keep refusing.
