Frankly I got tired of the radio silence these days. Knee jerk reaction turned into me selling a really good solid Connex, a RoadKing and Astatic and a Wilson 5000 all for about $150 about 4 years ago. I hung onto that thing for nearly 20 years and those long legs were still stretching out and walking. But Nobody including a lot of us older truckers just put down the mic and picked up a phone.
Just a curiosity question because I wanna grab another radio. Do they make a radio these days that can be Bluetooth paired with a headset or earbuds? Seems like everything these days is full of blue teeth.

Cobra has a Bluetooth radio, no idea if it's any good. Most cobra 29's today aren't very good. They have a lot of cold solder joint issues. A better radio would probably be the RoadKing RKCBBT voice activated hands-free CB radio on Amazon. I haven't checked any reviews on the RoadKing radio, but it has to be better than cobras.

If you're looking for a Cobra 29 type may I suggest the Uniden PC78LTX. Same as a 29 as far as operating it and the surface mount board should hold up better. If you want the BIG radio sound the Connex CX33HPC1 is a good choice. Cobra 29 size and Connex audio at a decent price. I can't speak to its availability though. It’s hard to find alot of radios these days.
