For future reference, it would be wiser to just do your 15 second google search privately rather than start a thread that gets all these guys pitted against you.

Its pretty normal that everyone wants to get everyone elses customers, but its a real insult to their hard work when you actually come out and say "someone just give me a list or else i will look it up myself."

Yes, do that, go look it up yourself like they all did. You arent entitled to their shippers. Find your own.

So your first thought was to have someone else tell you how to do it. See how easy it was to find three of hundreds of places for leads.

As said before, i hope your sales approach attitude is far better than the attitude you have here. Because that is what you were doing here, a sales pitch. If not, all the leads in the world will do you no good.

Whatever though I sincerely believe your comments come from a good place. I never asked for a handout just a tip on how to find it so all of these other comments were not necessary. The only conclusion one can draw is that those who make worthless comments like that are lowlife scumbags.

You asked for a handout, freebee, whatever. When confronted the attitude came out. You think when you call on someone they are going to be like your best buddy? You're trying to sell an MT truck, everyone has one of them. Shippers want to deal with a company, not that MT truck. Good luck with it.

Your first question was how to get a list of dry van shippers in DFW, followed by asking your presumed competition how to market and get leads.

Personally I would try and build relationships with a couple good brokers and be the truck they call when they’re in a bind. Unless a shipper is handling all their own traffic they’re likely working on contracts with large carriers or large brokerages and probably can’t call you for that one load they need you on.

    Deere hunter Thanks this.
