Colorado has a lot of end dump work. Them guys are driving nice sleepers with big stacks for local work. I'd imagine if they can upgrade their trucks there's money. Buddy works for one of the big end dump companies here called JFW makes good money year round as a company driver. They have excellent equipment. Maybe lease on there til you get a swing of things here.
I need advice but im not green.Trying to leave California.

Oilfield might be dried up in regards to Drilling and fracking but production jobs do exist and they do pay much better than hauling cheap Freight

Thanks for all the replies.I love CO. I went two summers ago with my tri axle.I have some friends in that area.I remember their rates were a little on the low end but work was nice.Honestly thats my first choice but i was ripped off for my last $12000 in 2014.Cornerstone transport.Him and his wife bounced my last check.I was unable to collect anything from said turd.It sort of left a bad taste.I have been avoiding going back because i went back a few times to collect and it just went in circles. He keeps blaming a phantom business partner.Well enough about that.I will probably try CO again and leave Texas as a good winter spot . Thanks guys
