Question … I have a opportunity to work with VERIHA But they only will accept me if I move to PA . Only reason I would want to work for this company is being that they have a 6 months requirement only to cover cdl training as opposed to 1year lock in . I planned to gain experience and then find a better paying job . Is that program for changing address best option in this case ? BECAUE If I don’t do this I’d be leaning towards PRIME which is a year . And I’m not required to change the state of my license with prime

Just pick a company and stay a YEAR! It wont kill you. Trust me...... you aren't going to know crap about driving a truck out here in 6 months. Most of us don't really hit our stride until year 2. Do you think you could start a job as a construction laborer, and 6 months later build your own house??

It's possible .. hey at least I could move on to another company after 6 months and continue training with them and get paid. It's still continuing training and experience just with a better deal plus sign on . Most these companies don't give sign on for a trainee . I dunno I might just go with prime ... ‍♂️

I mean a team pays more and less pressure for you when things go wrong . Two heads better than one .

YRC has good training and there is no repayment. Basically free training while you are paid to attend. If you need to travel they cover hotel, car, and give a weekly per diem card.

Weekly per diem card ??? In addition to miles or what ? That’s foreign to me and I find it hard to believe they don’t want me to pay a dime back

If you are young and strong and in good physical shape......food service might be up your alley. 12-14 hour days plus your commute to and from the yard. Home every day to SLEEP......thats about it! Good luck!
