That’s not too bad really. I think they made a mistake firing you. I wouldn’t have myself. Good example of how quickly things can go from bad to worse. The lines should not have been low. Had you taken them out, called the Cops, you wouldn’t have gotten ticketed. I’ve been in so many jambs. First thought is worst case scenario. How easily bad can go to worse. I actually did something similar 2 days ago. Turned onto a residential street. Had to ask a citizen to help stop traffic, so I could blind side out. Looking for an avenue, instead found the street. Same # . Still making mistakes. Still human. Good Luck.

I did that when I drove for jb hunt and they didn't even scold me.

I like the brevity of explanation from @Johnboy. "Stuck in mud, needed a wrecker tow to get out."
Short and sweet, and no big fat hairy deal.

One thing you need to learn about this industry is to NEVER RAT YOURSELF OUT.

Ok that said I don't mean if you hit someone to drive off or something like that. Obey the law but don't volunteer information that might harm you because most of the people who play in this pool aren't understanding, empathetic people. They play by numbers, miles, money, and risk.

Yes think we've all been there done that buddy, a typical rookie mistake forgetting to look back when turning on a corner, like when one drives a light vehicle, can be something people who've drive 4 wheelers will tend to do, the key is use your mirrors, and if no view look back out the window or stop if your not sure, its very important when turning to know exactly where you tandems are tracking when you go around a corner. Otherwise, pedestrians, light posts, cars and in your case you can land in a ditch I'm sure you will learn from this experience and be more the wiser for it, the hard part now is finding another company that'll give you a go. So very important don't make the same mistake twice and by all means take as much room as possible when turning to the right on a corner and look back to where your two rear axles are tracking when you do so.
