I need to hire 2 drivers - what interview questions to ask?

If I were you... I would have one of your current drivers help interview a potential new hire. Your driver will know what questions to ask and what to look for. He'll know if a candidate is going to be a good fit for your company.
Anyone who's been in the drivers seat a long time can usually pick out a fake and/or someone who is going to give you problems down the road.

 

Look at their PSP, DAC, employment history and take care of them and there shouldn't be any problems. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't hire anyone with no less than 2 years experience and a stable work history with no accidents and very limited tickets if any.

You would do better posting an ad down in the Seek Employment forum if you are looking to find potential drivers from here. This thread will get lost in a few days.
