    I-Pass (IL tollway) also have a roof-mount for commercial trucks you might want to look into, I'm sure EZ-Pass has one as well.

    I would be concerned with one on the front plate from all the winter time crud, grit and chemicals. I have bent my front plate a couple times while playing snow plow with the front end too.

    Anyone know which state or system they got their plate mounted unit from?
    I contacted NJ EZ Pass and setup an account, requesting a plate mounted unit.
    They sent me a windshield unit instead.



    So I called them and they told me a commercial transponder is not available in a plate mount, which I cannot believe.

    So, if someone DID get a plate mount for their rig, what state did you use??

    Bestpass.com offers plate mount and other styles. I have the windshield mount with no probs.

    They have a rather spendy startup deposit but indeed do offer the plate mount.
    Some state within EZ Pass must offer it !?

    are not ezpass and i pass interchangable now

    nj ezpass actually handles nh ezpass accounts
    need a scorecard keep up these days

    My bestpass windshield transponder is through NY state. Did you try NY for the plate mount? I found the bestpass deposit to be cheaper than the PA ez-pass so that is why I went through them.

    Just mount the windshield one on the dash down by the windshield. I put mine there you can't see it and it works fine. On a T800 anyway. Mass has the exterior ones.

    IPass is being phased out and states that were IPass will become EzPass. I have thought about using a tolling system, but none really make it easy for me to use with my lift axle trailer.

    I didnt know that. I gave up and just put the NJ EZ-Pass in my windshield at the bottom center.
