Move on unless you never need home. You can make money and average enough miles to stay above that. Normally if I am doing 11/3 I get above 600 one week then under the other.

    ajudson Thanks this.

If you stay out for 3 weeks with a good running truck you can see 800 every week and then 400ish the week ur home. Gotta trip plan trip plan trip plan. and figure out how roehl dispatches and stick to a schedule and ull be ran like hell, just dont have any service failures/late loads.

Yes it is. But you can't plan things when they give you appointments that are set and take away all the plan you work out. Like recently with me. So dude you can plan plan plan and plan some more, but when the company sets an appointment and says sit here till then. How does planning help? Just saying its not as simple as you suggest. Unless of course you have a excellent planner and FM that takes up for you. You know?

Ive honestly only had to sit 3 times for a day waiting for an appointment time. you could call up and ask if you can relay if theres a DY near by if its possible. Its always worth a try to relay a load just to keep you moving.

Well I'm close to finishing RDTC. I hope my experience is positive like everybody else. I hope I did not make a mistake. Maybe it was YOURSELF that caused you not to average many miles?

I worked for Roehl for over 2 years on 11/3 national van. I rarely ran over 4,000 mi for the 11 days out and had many 3,500 mi. 11 day totals. I felt the 11/3 was a good balance of road time to home time for me and my family. Plug in your per mile pay with Roehl and figure federal and state withholding and health insurance premiums were about $70.00 per week and you can figure what you will make. Remember your weekly expenses will go up as even if you eat in the truck you still will spend extra on coffee and snacks.
Some drivers stay out longer and make more. Some drivers report they get 3,000 mi a week. These are the miles I usually got during my two years with Roehl please be cautious on your estimated miles as it sounds like you have a lot to loose.
Good luck with whatever you deceide.

Here is what I would advise you, if you can't make it work on 2500 miles a week than you should look somewhere else.
