Here’s what you do... you drag the trailer down the road far enough that the downed sign will not be attributed to you.
Then you call the company and tell them that someone blew a tire and you hit a big piece of retread in the road.
I ran over a sign.

Running over signs is no big deal. Those ones that say “Photo Enforcement”? I run those over all the time.
Farmerbob1, austinmike, Lepton1 and 3 others Thank this. -
I was going to say, air lines.
Don't be running over stuff.
I once took on a truck tire and rim. Truck took it. But my paycheck did not, miles of new airlines. The second time I saw one laying in my lane, I horsed it around pretty hard. Tossed the front end out and damaged the sidewall belt on one steer.
More paycheck pain. Yes Boss I'll be good next time. Yess sir boss. kissy kissy kissy. Ugh.
These days you are simply yelled at and then fired.taodnt Thanks this. -
Maryland however DOES have a border wide system of cameras that will flag a stolen car via tags or some other problem vehicle when it enters the state. My CHL is tied to the Drivers License which happens to be tied to the tags. So the Law knows there is a gun carrier potentially when the tag is run.
Im still working on a Non Res permit for Maryland, It will take a while. -

I hit a light pole in Hartford ct ! Tandems all the way up in the front - Trailer swung and hit the pole, the pole landed on the utility wire (I was lucky!)
Stayed there & called 911
Cops noted I didn’t leave
Utility crew came and put the pole back up.
