    There once was a run.

It paid $4500. Return was empty.
Occasionally there was a load back. Paid an extra $1000.

But then the customer got greedy and the loads paid less and less.

10 years later. They're all in prison now.
You can watch the demise on whistleblower. Season 2. I think it was show 2 or 3.

Would love to know where he got his 7000 a week to run a truck. That’s an absurd number.

I don’t care what anybody grosses. It’s all about what’s left in your jeans at the end of the month.

No different than guys bragging bout getting 2.50-3 bucks a mile. Or 4 bucks a mile. What’d it cost you?

At the end of the day I’m taking home $12-$15k a month. That’s after fuel and plates and insurance. And I’m leased on to a company pulling their trailers. Plates insurance and tolls all paid by the company.

    Sort of.

It’s all just numbers. I work for less per mile, but it’s me turning the miles and generating the revenue for the company that enables them to cover my plates etc. You can work for more per mile, sure, but your costs are also gonna go up. It’s all about the NET!
