    hey guys
i recently received a copy of my dac report that trans-am requested in the mail. i thought that you wouldnt have a dac report unless you previously operated a cmv. it showed the careless driving charge i had from may of 05 in my personal car. any help on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Did it list a company you worked for? I was under the impression DAC is only for Job history. Are you sure it isn't your MVR?
    I am curious also:biggrin_25511:

no this happens. the DAC/USIS will also run a DMV check on you as well as an employment check on you. in fact, the trucking company usually requests it from DAC, as they will usually request that you the driver provide an updated DMV copy as well. this just "back's up" everything.......

this happens to me when i order my DAC as well...........

don't forget, your automobile insurance company can order up a DAC report anytime they want to, as well as your DMV report for premium changes or surcharges...........

I have one for ya. I got a careless driving in small town kentucky. what happened was I missed my turn for dollar general. found another road that led me back to the road I needed to be on. trucks were allowed on this road . But it was narrow. only 3 places a vehicle could leaggaly pass in 14 miles if that gives u an idea what kind of a road it was. a realtor was behind me and because he couldnt pass he called the police . when i reached the town that would get me back to the road i needed to be on the police took this realtor's word citied me for careless driving. I hired an attorney drove from pa to flemingburg ky. and lost. I have been driving for 11 years . now i cant find a job. what can i do. are their companies out there that will hire an accident free person in the next 3 years with this hanging over me. it has ruined my life. I could see if I was hitting property or crap but to takke the word of a realtor on a driver that had a clean record is crazy. what about talking senator. oh did I mention that when i went back to the town and took pictures of the narrow road for my defense, that the officer told me to get the hell out of his town. lol... seriously. he literally told me that and escorted me out of town

RandyRoy, That's a real head-scratcher. What exactly was the careless driving for? Missing a turn isn't an offense, so what did this dude claim you did that was careless. And beyond that, I watch alot of "Cops" on tv, and have come to learn that police can't just issue a citation on what someone says happens, or there would be prisons on every corner. What am I missing here? :biggrin_2556:
