Ask for the home time a week ahead , in writing . Email text or Qualcomm or whatever .

Been There, Done That. Went Home Anyways.

Company here in NC, Concord Logistics. Early to mid 2000.
Left Me Hanging in CT., on a Saturday Morning. Claimed I needed a reset. Call back Monday.
I No Need A Reset. New Comic Book, Full Hours.
They wanted me to Sit For 2+ Days after I drove off hours (Paper Logs) To Deliver an "Important Load", on Friday before 1800, Southwest of Boston.

Stayed Overnight at a Cozy Truckstop near Boston.

I drew all money I could off Comdata (150.00??), Fueled Up On Their Card.
"I AM NOT SITTING FOR 2 + DAYS BECAUSE I'LL BE HOME SUNDAY!! (on Qualcomm and phone calls). I Paid Tolls (MUCH Cheaper Then), I-95, Cost Of "Doing Business".
Shoulda gone Around To I-78 then I-81 to I-77, so 6 of 1, 1/2 dozen other.
I received next to nothing from that last weeks pay, no arguing.
NO Communication from Company on Home Route (Maybe I Unplugged Unit? ).
Drove Home With Empty Air Ride Dry Van 53' Trailer, on MY Hours.
I got back near Home20 Sunday around noon.
Parked Combo where they wanted it.
Cleaned Out and went home.

I had been experiencing a few problems with them getting me home When I NEEDED To Be.
NEVER Repeated Again With Any Employer, although there were "similarities".

They Listed Reason Of Termination, on DAC, "Unauthorized Use Of Equipment" which meant "Nuttin' Honey" To Future Employers.
