brocken shift rail.... becouse tranny pressure limiting valve failed and driver ignored tranny pressure fault code
-
can u please show me where is the shift rail and functioning for total 9 unit of the solenoid valve..
i replace another transmission ECU along with the solenoid valve from other good condition truck but air still leaking, it is possible gear control unit ,changing fork trouble??
both has no fault codes.. -
do you know how to remove upper cover? is it removed?
-
ya, i can see total 9 solenoid valve and the transmission ECU under the cover right, then can i ask u about function for each solenoid valve?
-
you removed TCU cover, not the whole tranny cover held with bigger bolts.
You must see gears, forks... but before you try to remove cover take in mind that splitter must be in L position, else you cant pull front (splitter) fork out. Use compressed air to blow it in splitter holes (trace it by solenoid passages) -
yup, i can read from impact.
i have check with the gearbox, everything ok, i found faulty clutch. how to measure for the clutch wear???
my company have a lot of volvo truck with i-shift and trouble with these transmission after few year, we are not familiar with this and result long downtime. we send to volvo dealer may need 3 week or more. can u please provide me some I-shift trouble-shoot and service manual
thanks a lot... -
Hi could you tell me what happend from the start and which model of gearbox it is by the engine code I suspect it's a AT2612O OR OD clutch cannot be measured or replaced without the use of volvo vcads system
-
If your lucky it might just be the shift cylinder seals but if the rail has broken it will require a gearbox calibration with vcads after repair or you could risk doing damage to the transmission
-
Ya, i also replace the shift cylinder seals and will replace the clutch today. u mean just need to doing calibration after installation the gearbox and ready to run??
The transmittion is VT2412 with D13A engine
recently i purchase Vcads diagnosis tools and the software come from chinese, cant communicated with the truck cause software trouble.
can i buy the software from your site? thanks.
thanks..
