I always made money as a company driver. And I would even do my dispatcher a favor, if it didn't add miles or time to my day. If so they paid.
If I thought a company was "screwing" me over, I left.
I don't stick up for whiners OR adults that act like a child.
Driving in servitude? Hardly.
Face it, you are a "victim", your dispatcher is tired of you and wants you to leave.
You hate it there, but don't have the courage to leave.
Take the step. Get your own equipment/authority and be your own boss. Do the weeks when you break even and am thankful for that. Turbo's are not cheap. But you won't do that. Nobody to blame.
You have 47 posts, of which 35+ are whining.
Hell, Wendy's hire everyday.ridenby Thanks this. -
If I was treated like this, I would start costing them money... and I mean as much as possible. Over the years, I have learned and thought of some things that are truly diabolical, and will not come back on you at all. However, they WILL cost Schneider... big time. PM me if you wanna know!

Well that's it, I'm sure there's another side to this story, I see a communication problem or a conflict of personalities between driver and dispatch.
SNI is just a starter company but if you work hard at good communication with dispatch and do what they want you to do it can be ok.
I worked for them for 8 months within my first year as a driver and then moved on.
I have no regrets but was glad to find something better at 1 year. -
Unless they starve you out then dump you off with no means to get home... Still remember the summer that a flatbed company had drivers everywhere stranded and they haven't been paid in weeks... Arrow out of Ok if I recall.
-
At what point do you just say '#### it' and start selling stuff off the truck?
-
Arrow completely shut its doors.Every driver was affected.Thats how companies are, they prefer a 2 weeks notice from you which still can mean dump you off wherever but they won't give you any kind of a notice if they start cleaning house. But that does not mean damaging their equipment or selling their stuff because you have some kind of a beef with your dispatcher.I was very unhappy with 2 companies like this driver was,but I kept it under wraps till I got home and could clean the trk out.I told companies my plan dead headed back to terminals the next day and both companies paid for my transportation back home. There are professional ways leaving a company ,en eye for an eye attitude is not the correct way.
FLATBED Thanks this. -
I was with arrow then. It sucked and what sucked worse, those people that did it basically got off scot free.
However...none of us was chained to the truck or the company. And I got paid the on payday before they closed.
Had a load, delivered it and took the truck home.
And was already looking for a job. -
I had 1 driver recently that did nothing but WHINE & CRY to anyone who listened about not making any $ or not getting paid . Problem was you have to WORK to get paid and it comes in handy when you turned your miles in so your pay could be done for direct deposit.
He needed time off every week for 1 thing or another but yet could not call in Friday night with his TRUCK # and the HUB MILEAGE and # of drop / hooks he did ( get paid for each 1 ) for the week but found time to bad mouth us.skellr, Lonesome, HotH2o and 1 other person Thank this.
