I was just like him when I worked for Schneider, they really are abusive. If he has a safe year, he needs to find a better company, and approach it with a different attitude.

  3. What is this attitude people! When I started got a few days 500+ miles in a row, got message on qualcom to have a talk with my DBL, then like see how you are making big bucks nice isn't it? then he capt describing it like it was free money and to follow and listen to what he says and I'll get more "free money". I'm like it's hard 13 hour + a day work NOT FREE MONEY I work for it, well guess want off to New York City all day loading, traffic then he makes me drop the relay so someone else takes it 1000+ miles it's been every since like that to teach me a lesson.

Attitude is not being a dog, I can say it's hard work when it is not kiss his ### and I will not, that is not attitude. Also I tell him that he is ripping me off for not paying and finding some crap rules to avoid paying dock time and trailer hunting he goes out of his way to not pay me all that crap has to be approved.

An for all you Schneider truckers with "good attitude" who get the "free miles and free money" after kissing ### to your DBL you don't average 1000 per week for 52 weeks and you work probably 4 hours with no pay calling, chasing this and that, getting stuck etc... No thanks I don't want to not say the problem.

Let me put this way to you good little pumpkin brownosers why doesn't the DBL GET A GOOD ATTITUDE towards the driver???? why is it the guy hauling the loads have to be a good little dog and kiss behind?

SNI is a scam basically I can be stupid and not an educated person like a DBL is to see that a big chunk of the profit is making the driver work 5 hours for free and giving him 8 hours at 15 dollars effectively getting 10 dollars per hour if he is lucky. Then look out for those who object like me and get all the good little driver dogs to attack and them to attack TO GET ME IN LINE with this imoral abuse. This I get it wrong?

I don't mind working 12 hours per day 7 days a week that is 84 hours but at least get me 1000 dollars for that much work not 300/400 to "teach me a lesson". And all you attacking me are the reason they can do this to the few who are standing up, I can see why no one stands up and just takes it. I hope they all vaccinate you all one day with mercury then put a smile so you have a good attitude because give it 10 years they will maybe even chip you while they are at it. What happened to the home of the brave, now we are the home of the obey rules and get an attitude check. I'll go down fighting when I die I know it was the right thing to do, and those of you who caved you aint much richer but you are corrupt just like your rulers (the DBL pricks).

I'm still like him to a certain point. It depends on the company.I don't blame him for standing his ground but it could cost a lot of jobs too.Companies could care less about you.Theyd rather you quit if you're unhappy.A member did make a valid suggestion about the poster,if you're so unhappy then find another occupation.

I too had a terrible time at Schneider. Do you have a year of safe driving? Please read my posts and consider my suggestion that you go to another company. Schneider did the same kinds of things to me and I was so angry at times I thought my head would explode. Many of us have been there. We know it is a terrible situation. Pull yourself together and find a better job.

What ever happened to STL's???? When I drove for Schneider the people who "managed" us were called STL's. The drivers called them Schneider trained liars.

If he takes another trucking job, he needs to research the company as best he can. Then he needs to clear his mind a little and not carry his anger to the new job. I call what he has Schneider syndrome. It leaves the driver with uncontrollable anger and the inability to trust. It is similar to what happens with small children who have been beaten and molested.

Driver: When you quit , give a weeks notice and return the truck and trailer clean to the operating center where they want it. DO NOT get an abandoned equipment report on your DAC. I don't care how terrible they are to you.

  8. Not sure if you are talking about those people sitting looking important at the Schneider bases in like brown light orange shirts I tried talking to a few and they where just control freaks 2 of them lectured me in for not having the "approved" boots and another for not waiting, I just had a quick question he wouldn't even ecgnoledge me, whatever I stopped talking to them and now just avoid. Unfortunately I have to go to bases my DBL has setup that I do the live load then drop it at the base often or approved Schneider place so someone else gets the miles. That happens every single week and it just pisses me off one time I spent all day chasing an MT then spending 3 hours loading and then went to INdi to give the load to someone else and didn't get detention pay my dbl wont say why says figure out the rules but I suspect if you are late, wrong line, eta, appointment time or who knows what but they use any reason not to pay. If you don't suck up to the DBL at Schneider they can rule you like the corrupt representatives in Washington they do the double talk at least my 2 DBL's I had at Schneider both do the double speak like a politician and and back stab me.

I think after 40-50 posts we gather you don't like Schneider. why not spend a little bit off your free time finding a better fit for you instead of the incessant ######## on here. I think you've made your point, it's time to move along. I do agree that we have to do way to many things for free, but I justify it because I'm happy with my checks. I average almost$1200/ week gross for my checks and I know that I couldn't do that anywhere at home punching a time clock. I probably work between 60 &65 hours a week, but the money is what matters to me. plus you can hardly call what I have to do work on most days, as I never have to unload a trailer, usually just drop/ hook. the time away from home it's the worst part for me, I figure if I can't make at least $1000/ week it's not worth being OTR. just my thoughts, good luck on whatever you choose to do. by the way I don't work for Schneider. good luck man.
