I start Monday 01/12/15

Understood....the learning to drive will come and then when I start working the real test will start showing up.

 

Hit the road again yesterday & today putting all our upshifting & downshifting together. Everyone in class is doing great for only a few days of driving. Pre trip is still going pretty well don't feel to bad about it. In more exciting news I received a pre hire email from H.O Wolding this afternoon. I liked alot about them, especially being able to go right into Southeast regional. Plus full tuition reimbursement & $2k sign on bonus is awesome. All is after orientation & out w/ trainer of course. Thanks for taking time to read!

 

I have a week and 2 days to go before I'm finished with school. Very good training and I have learned alot in a short time. Ready to go to work and get real deal training. Received a second pre hire from G&P trucking and they also seem like a good company and also provide some tuition reimbursement. I have enjoyed training but ready to be done and have my cdl.

 

I have 2 pre hires & 1 over the phone offer from a small local company. No not decided 100% yet but to get a sign on bonus & tuition back in full is awesome & was not expected & I'm hearing nothing but good about Wolding. Still have one more recruiter coming to school this Thursday(Averitt) & was also interested in them from the start. Yes this full week will be driving on the skill pad more, pre trip every morning & driving in the city for more turning experience & test the next Tuesday or Wednesday. Yes ALMOST!

 

I have nothing but GOOD to says about my school & training. I would recommend it to anyone interested! Mountain driving, city, rural two lane roads, highways, night driving & skills pad. I think we have been in a lot of situations & they have made me feel pretty confident, oh yeah even a packed out truck stop at night. Thanks for asking!

 

Well we were going to test for our cdl next Tuesday & I feel ready. Now the weather is saying snow or ice possible for a day or two next week. She will not give a test on Mondays or Fridays and there are 4 class A test and 2 class B test this week, the two B's were from another class not ours. We are not in control and only the good Lord will make it happen on time if it's meant to be. I have enjoyed this training alot and got paired with 4 great guys, but just ready to be done and go to work.
