Good miles, Mustang. I delivered in Atlanta at 8 this morning and now I am sitting at our Fulton yard waiting on a dispatch. I would have figured Atlanta would have some freight to keep me moving but there are several trucks here waiting on loads. This post must be good luck. I got a load picking up tires in White, GA tonight headed for Grand Prarie TX and delivers Wednesday. Good run to start the week.

Does anyone know where there might be a link to "special hiring classes"?
I'm in a PTDI approved school in south GA and am wondering if I might qualify as well.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks -
Nice miles, Mustang! I started the week with a CHA to Atlanta delivery at 8 this morning. Now it's time to grab a nap. I have an evening pick-up in White, GA and then I'll be hauling to Grand Prairie, TX for a Wednesday morning delivery. Good miles to get the week started. Every Texas trip I've had I end up with 2200-2500 miles for the week.

All I can give you is my experience and I hope it helps. -
So far this week I've been to Atlanta, Dallas, Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Had a load offering that would take me to the Wharf to pick up and then I'd carry it on to Morrison, TN. Great load home getting me to the Chattanooga yard by early afternoon tomorrow. Nice. I accept the load then five minutes later they take it off of me. Load planners are such teases. Now I'm at our New Orleans yard sitting and waiting. First time I have had to sit all week. At least I got fuel and a nice long much needed shower.

First week, started Sunday evening.
Cookeville TN - Jackson OH,
West Jefferson OH - Statesville NC,
Spruce Pine NC - Willuoghby OH,
Ravenna OH - Livingston TN
Just added it up to a little under 2200 miles. That got me back to Cookeville at noon today. I fly home to Houston tomorrow and will get my truck Monday. Yeah, I'm pretty happy with that for my first week even if I did have a trainer riding along.
