Its been about 5 weeks so far, no real money yet. I say about 250 to 350 a week net on an average, that's training pay. The home time thing is a bit of a joke, it could work out if your bank roll can hang that long. Been with two trainers up to now, 1st guy had to get off his truck because he was an A- H_ _ E !. Then they put me with a real nice lady that could drive real good, but her and the dispatcher did not get along, so she was let go. So I'm just siting in the truck waiting for Monday to see what is going to happen next. As for right now I would have to say that A car wash might be a better business to get into. I have done this type of work in the past, but up till now I can say I have not seen anything like this, at my end. If some one is doing real good at CRST let me and the others know, Thanks.![]()
I Think CRST Is Ok, I think ???

Dude run for your life now!
Keepfrozzin and Sapper Daddy87 Thank this. -
I'd get out of that truck right now if I were you. It's only gonna get worse. CRST is a company run by idiots for idiots. At this stage of the game, you are only 1 cut above a convict in that you are little more than an indentured servant. Go away now.

I just quit last week. wait until you start getting paid by the mile your gonna miss that training pay. lmao
Sapper Daddy87 Thanks this. -
I was a trainer/lead driver there, started with them back in 1989 when the company was run by Harold Smith, not these folks they have now. Was a much better company back then. Nowadays, it's just a name, nothing good left there. I left when I was told to "babysit" my students and just keep them from killing anyone out there. Sorry, couldn;t do that. I've got too much respect for safety (mine and everyone else's) to turn an unsafe driver loose on the highway. I kept telling my Fleet Manager and Safety Dept. that until it cost me my job. CRST-Van Expedited, or whatever they want to call themselves, they aren't interested in anything but cold hard cash money. Not even a good starter company anymore.

Look up spme of the videos on You Tube. Most have nothing good to say about CRST. I was watching this one guy on there and had seen all of his posts until he deleted them. I guess he was told by CRST to delete them or else. It was one crap load after another. No hometime. His trainer did not shower and was over 400 lbs and in exceptionally bad physical health. It is a joke of a company and is not something you should ever get yourself into for more than training. I would suggest that as soon as you get a couple of months in. Then move on if nothing more than Swift. It would be a move up. CRST is in the league of C.R. England. The bottom of the bottom feeders.

Crst isn't bad a company, the drivers are lazy for the most part, refusing to do pretrips, bbrace load or drive safely. AAll everyone does is comlplain about the company all the time at the terminals and truckstops. Then I see their truck and spot several violations. Lol. Figures. The main problem is since its a team company, no one feels the need to take responsibility. If one person does actually care, they barely get to sleep and are overworked doing 2 ppl's jobs. Crst gives us everything we need and makes all info available to do an excellent job, honestly they do. Its just the ppl who want to do things the right way fed fed up and tired from the work load. Crst is very leanient in my opinion to let most of this go on. I think they're afraid to lose drivers because its harder to keep teams going. My fm and the management, for the most part are great ppl who care but have to deal with a lot of dumb&%" drivers who don't want to pull their weight. And to all of you at crst that work hard do it right and get it done....thanks
