The lift is carried on the trailer. I think the local drivers do this, not the OTR drivers.

I was at a shipper in SLC that was next to a PODS facility. The flatbeds would deliver the PODS then they were unloaded onto smaller box type trucks.

 

I really doubt CRE is sending PODS drivers to homes. I never worked there so I can't say for sure. It's the question most drivers first ask about PODS.

 

So surprising to see the driver market in such a low demand even at the Mega level. Not too long ago, all it took to get hired was not too messed up MVR on your CDL.
