That is a check for engine mounts. When my left one went bad the shift column seemed like it was going to hit the passenger seat!
But like others have said, it could be tranny mounts, etc...
And I know a little about cars, not much about trucks.

Just be careful what you say to the mechanics because the first thing they will do is blame you for the problem. That's why I asked if you float. -
Get it in to the shop ASAP!! Say nothing about any potholes! You noticed it the other night when when it happened for the first time. (true) If it is a bad tranny mount it could effect the driveline angle and that could cause a problem with a u-joint or carryer bearing and thats BAD NEWS!! Ever see what can happen when a truck looses a drive shaft? I have besides the shaft and the exhaust system (straight truck) the drive shaft actually bent the frame and lifted the rear of the truck off the road!

#### you guys are good! it was a engine mount. Im going to be put in another truck tomorrow (Please dont give me an auto!pleeeeeeassse!)

Dunno about a Big Truck but to change out a motor mount on your typical 4wheeler is NOT a drawn out affair.
-
its not a drawn out affair on a truck either. Of course geting to the point where a mechanic will acualy be working on it is. Sure driver we will get to that truck next monday.
-
i talked to the guy. its not a drawn out affair its just that they dont have that part and will take awhile to find the part, then when they find the part they have to wait for it to arrive. it will just be easier and faster for them to put me in another truck.
