I think Swift is garnishing my paycheck making me pay for a tow.

He said he’s parked there before and that his company also has dedicated runs for Walmart and usually they are allowed to park at the stores. In his shoes I probably would’ve done the same thing without even giving it a second thought.

Shoot me too, which is why I'm surprised he got towed. That's why I feel like the holiday shopping crowd influenced them to make that move. Wally world gets a bit crazy around those times, and the parking lots get jam packed with people looking to spend money they may or may not have lol

I'm not mad. Just calling it as I see it. His first unedited posted did not specify he had permission to park at Walmart. If it was your equipment that got impounded I think you'd be singing a different tune.

And what about what the property owners have to deal with? They're pretty tired of having the expense and hassle of repairing damaged asphalt, light poles, barriers and cleaning up human waste and trash that these losers bring with them (or leave behind I should say).

Again, if you owned the lot I bet you would be singing a different tune.

This is not the first time you've made fun of my name. What's your deal?

While I don't totally disagree with your stance on property owners, things happen. Many of us have gotten tickets or towed for parking in the wrong places known or not. I've had both happen to me. Where i take issue is that you think he should be charged for the tow bill, and lose his job. People screw up out here. You have, I have, we all have. I'm not so sure if he totally screwed up because he had got away with it so much. Now that this headache occurred, he will probably park somewhere else going forward.

As for your screen name getting made of..........I already laughed. Now I have nothing. Lol

In the scheme of things its very minor. I resigned myself to pay it if that's what I was going to be forced to do so. It was a week's pay check and it would have been a minor speed bump. Its pretty rare that I've seen another driver take the side of a mega trucking corp against another driver, but ya. If you're a good driver/producer Swift will bend over backwards to keep you around. So what? Did he specify Swift and/or Walmart gave him permission to do it? I didn't see that anywhere.

I'm glad you see my point here. Just because he was doing it before doesn't mean it was right and none of that was specifically mentioned by him so I just assumed the worst because that's how the industry is these days. People just do whatever they want then whine about the consequences.

I've never had a trucked impounded but if I did I would take full responsibility for it and that includes paying the bill. But there are other financial penalties that most employees don't even consider like late or missed pickups and possibly losing customers because of the truck was impounded. An employee can never pay back a lost customer.

I did get a parking ticket once as an employee but the owner didn't make me pay it because I was parked on a side street at a shop on my time getting the windshield repaired.

Since everybody is all over me like white on rice let's clear up some of this?

Did Walmart specifically give you permission to leave your truck unattended on their lot for the duration of your home time?

Did Swift specifically give you permission to leave your truck unattended on their lot for the duration of your home time?
