He said he’s parked there before and that his company also has dedicated runs for Walmart and usually they are allowed to park at the stores. In his shoes I probably would’ve done the same thing without even giving it a second thought.
I think Swift is garnishing my paycheck making me pay for a tow.

And what about what the property owners have to deal with? They're pretty tired of having the expense and hassle of repairing damaged asphalt, light poles, barriers and cleaning up human waste and trash that these losers bring with them (or leave behind I should say).
Again, if you owned the lot I bet you would be singing a different tune.

In the scheme of things its very minor. I resigned myself to pay it if that's what I was going to be forced to do so. It was a week's pay check and it would have been a minor speed bump. Its pretty rare that I've seen another driver take the side of a mega trucking corp against another driver, but ya. If you're a good driver/producer Swift will bend over backwards to keep you around. I've never had a trucked impounded but if I did I would take full responsibility for it and that includes paying the bill. But there are other financial penalties that most employees don't even consider like late or missed pickups and possibly losing customers because of the truck was impounded. An employee can never pay back a lost customer.
I did get a parking ticket once as an employee but the owner didn't make me pay it because I was parked on a side street at a shop on my time getting the windshield repaired. -
Did Walmart specifically give you permission to leave your truck unattended on their lot for the duration of your home time?
Did Swift specifically give you permission to leave your truck unattended on their lot for the duration of your home time? -
