I think Swift is garnishing my paycheck making me pay for a tow.

Not exactly…. Money that was made for doing actual work from deliveries, money that is used to provide for you and your family and to pay bills and is considered wages legally made…. Swift cannot take that. When a judge in court ask what money did Swift take from this man and he says my “wages” ….. it’s not gonna look good for swift. Towing fees and wage money is 2 different things!! You CANNOT take a person whole check because he owes a towing fee!! A 2nd question a judge will ask is who is that truck registered too?? If it’s a company truck and he doesn’t own it, he is not responsible for it…. Swift is. They are suppose to provide an adequate place for parking for their own equipment!

Why should he have to pay for something he doesn’t own, it’s not his truck? People do make mistakes but this is something that should have been worked out better between him and swift…. Work out a payment deal of $100 a week, not take a whole check

I find your opinion quite insightful ….. but question….. how is he suppose to really know what the charge of towing was if he never saw a receipt? At this point …. The company or towing service can charge whatever at a higher price. And i said this on some other post…. The truck belongs to swift, it’s their responsibility to provide him with a safe parking place while doing hometime. Swift is just as much to blame for this mistake as he is. He shouldn’t have to figure out where to park it when he wants to go home.
