Hell Shaggy, we'll do better than that... you just earned yourself a .25/mile raise. Call your TM right now and just tell him/her so they can get it on your next check! :biggrin_255:

    On the bright side..

if you log it all daily you'll have 8 sheets to give the officer instead of three

Correct; it is a policy and not a regulation. It is, however, a practical idea as most carriers file logs by the month and a single sheet spanning days of two months would require the carrier to keep one month's logs a month longer than necessary. Shouldn't be a big deal either way.

I don't even go as far as was suggested, I don't write anything in remarks and just put the days covered by the off-duty period in the appropriate slot.

Oh, and for the OP, don't be a ####### and grow some thicker skin.

You guys dont need to be so rude to the OP. We all have questions that we should know, yet we still ask because we forgot. Its responses like these that hurt this forum and keep new drivers from coming here. You don't need to degrade the guy because he didn't pay attention or understand one day of class in school

Yes it did. In case PackRat didn't make the point clear let me make it again. The bickering stops immediately. Keep in mind what section of the site this is. It's called "Questions from new drivers". They come to us for help, NOT to get beat up on, and I don't want to see any more of it in here. Are we all clear on that?

Yes, it can and does happen to the best of us. Not everyone is God's gift to the trucking industry, despite some people being legends in their own minds. Even the long timers don't know it all.
