I hope it was the regulation brown or gold color so they match her uniform.

Yeah, same here man. Always admired those brave drivers on the highways pulling those doubles.

My greatest satisfaction is at the end of the day, when I finish my route, re-connect to both my trailers and get to enjoy the ride back to the terminal.

In your experience, do you think knowing how to pull doubles could lead to something better ? I'm always looking for greener pastures

I think the first day is when you're more nervous, well, at least for me that was the case. Just too anxious on the freeway.

Today is my third day, im definitely more comfortable. After I hook the trailers I inspect everything three times, I do 3 laps around the trailers to make sure I'm not forgetting anything.

Once I start rolling, I feel good. It's just like that old saying ; practice makes perfect (at least makes you better)

Sometimes and we don't like to say it, but sometimes you have to know when to break the rules.

I did it today there was a no left hand turn sign in a parking lot between some hours I forget what it was and there was nobody around and no traffic on the road and I said to hell with driving down god knows how far looking for a place to turn around all to run back, it's a sign in a parking lot so nobody was around I said to hell with this and saved my self 10 minutes of jacking around.

I know for a fact it might say no truck turn around in a parking lot and your driving along and uh oh no truck turn around yet there is a 12ft tall bridge well you bet your going to turn around in that parking lot and if the police see you there not going to do a darn thing, you know why? They would rather have you turn around in that parking lot then sit with you under that bridge for the next 7 hours waiting for you to get towed out.

    Here was my first time:
I don't remember being nervous I remember saying this is what a real GFS driver is expect to do and perform without any trouble and that's what your going to do. 022.JPG

You can't and won't be hassled by law enforcement for disregarding signs posted on private property - with the possible exception of a 'no trespassing' sign.

Another driver at our yard pretty much said something real similar to that, he said a sing in a parking lot doesn't care a whole lot of weight. Maybe no trespassing, but besides that a parking lot isn't a highway road.
