I understand why so many bums hang around truck stops now

Lol I had that one at the travel plaza in New Haven, CT. I asked "Which car is yours?". So I walked over and told hubby to turn the key on. They still had half a tank.

 

If I have a little cash on me I will always give. If they lie to me and use it for something other than what they said its their sin not mine.

 

Most times.
I will offer to pay for gas after its put in a car.
Buy a meal in the restaurant.
Pay for a bus ticket using phone.
Most times my offer is refused, the people just want the cash.
My charity on the road is pretty much limited to leaving a tip for the waitress.

 

Hey there big baller....You will soon realize 6-figures is not thaaaaaaaaaat much.....lol

Especially if you keep doing this....



and also old age will prolly make you look for skeezers to do this to you...



Watch out that scalding hot showers...they'll make your skin super dry and it will start itching and asking you to...

 

I do too. I tip the waitresses well. The shower attendant gets a tip. I will buy a meal for student drivers. Any student driver. I know how hard it is when you're trying to get started and they're having you live on training pay.

That's the same reasoning the government gave my mom after my dad decided that he no longer wanted to be a family guy and left a 31 year old woman with 5 kids. They refused to help her because she didn't want to quit her part time job. These are the ones that need help the most.

Which is better...to help a crackhead buy more crack, or help a waitress support her family? You bleeding heart scum will stiff a waitress, yet help a crackhead buy more crack. If that makes you hypocritical sidewalk sissies feel better that Mr Crackhead can get his high, so be it. I will continue investing in human beings and you can continue to help supply them their poison.

 

Back when I had a steady schedule job I'd see the same guy panhandling at the corner where I turned left to get home. He had the standard piece of cardboard sign that said, " Need money for beer and weed. NO, I'M NOT A VIETNAM VETERAN. "

Every time I was stopped at that left turn light I'd give him a few bucks. Part of it was for the beer and weed but most of it was for the second part.

Two bums working the same corner. Bum #1 barely got by and lived under a bridge. Bum #2 is raking it in all day every day. One day bum #1 decides to ask bum #2 how he was so successful, drove a Mercedes and lived in a nice home in the suburbs.

It's all in the sign he says and shows it to bum #1.

It read... "Need $10 to get back to Mexico"
