I WANT A PRE-EMISSIONS TRUCK

    There was an earlier driver who bought a W900 for $10K. IF you can get that truck and dump $90K into it, you are still $50-$70K ahead. The problem can arise though if that old truck starts nickel and diming you after the major investment. Putting $50K-$90K into a truck should get you ahead of those issues. Heck, $70K into a W900 should have you sitting pretty for quiet some time!!!

    Pre-emission truck is the best way to go, only if your out here to make money :biggrin_255:

    I bought older Volvos and within 3 years of ownership I replaced pretty much everything. Suspension, engines, transmissions, rear ends and everything in between.
    These pre egr trucks are very reliable, but you can't fool the time. Parts are gonna break just because they are old.

    Honestly, knowing what I know now, for somebody who is not wrenching himself,I think a new glider with Detroit series 60 is the best way to go.
