Tattoos won't hurt you with most companies. Some may be a bit more picky about it is all.

I was thinking the same thing....there is 2 pages of answers for this question.....and their not bashing or rude either. 2 pages of honest, respectful answers.

 

Not sure what tattoo's have to do with anything. You are talking about trucking right? Yes cursing, tattoo's, overall's, piercings are all allowed! I doubt Martha (supervisor of TA buffett) is going to mind. Nor Harold (shower room cleaner guy) or Bob (shipper/dock manager) or Nancy (walmart security guard), oh yeah and little Timmy (Streacon Beacon head spray and rinse guy)! With those people in mind you and your tats should be fine! Wear a collared shirt or tie and now you have a problem! Good luck may the force be with you!

Not sure why so many contradicted my post. My arms are about sleeved. I've been sporting heavy ink for many years. The man asked about the kind of tattooing that is considered heavy. I made a reference to shop work and um, tattooing obtained from other sources. It can be a problem. If you have sleeves, or visible tattoos on your hands, do speak up. As a matter of fact, you can't work at McDonalds with visible ink. I'm not talking about the little dolphin on your ankle, or an AC/DC tatt on your upper arm. I stand on my comment. Try to go get a job at Covenant with it. Just sayin'.
