OK today I had to loosen a plate on my pump to get it to turn. Mind I stood on an 18" pipe wrench and it only turned after I loosened the side plate . Last load was resin. I had it cleaned and left the caps off for 5 hours to let it air dry. Is there something I should add , like turpentine?
I want tips for pump after resin

needs caustic. whoever washed it didn't do it right. Rubbing alcohol might help. If you can put steam on it and get it nice and HOT HOT HOT and then run caustic through it should get most of the resin out.

Is resin "dissolved " in a petroleum spirit , like paint thinner.?

Next time you deliver resin, ask the receiver if they have the proper solvent. If you can get a five gallon bucket of solvent, put your suction and discharge hoses in the bucket and run the pump a minute or two.

After i pump resin I put diesel in my pump and let it spin for a bit. Then when they go to clean it, makes their life easier and it stays loose. Wont harden. I leave it right in the pump untill I get it cleaned

Always remind tank wash not to use water. It will harden resin.
77fib77 Thanks this.
