Don't think this thread is all that relevant any more. The OP was last seen on here asking about going to drive for In and Out Burger. Guess the dream is dead.

 

take a business management class. I think that is a huge problem in the industry. A vast majority o/o do not know how business works they get a $3000 settlement check and think wow look at all the money I made, not realizing that it took them $3500 to get that check. I am not saying you need a M.B.A. but you do need to know how to run a quick risk benefit assessment. i.e. is this load worth it for the price they are offering. also learn how to generate and read a profit and loss statement.
