Let me get this straight, you want purchase a truck, then lease that truck to a company that will hire an employee to drive the truck?
If that’s what I understand, you will go broke.
There are companies that do that. Paclease is one that comes to mind, they have the volume to make it work.
You, Joe Blow from Kokomo, don’t have a chance.

I think that point has been made abundantly clear in every reply. I think @sammiesanewbie got the point. Another OHW on TTR!

    I wouldn’t say he doesn’t have a chance
    There’s a chance in everything
A long tough road to make a $
There are guys in this business who have a good reputation and gear but still can’t keep a good driver so with that, I agree with you
Tough road but people hit the Lotto Dailey

Wouldn’t be my plan but hey, the economy needs more cash flowing around

Your plan is nonexistent, for that you stand zero chance of success. You can’t invest in an industry you know nothing about. If you want to learn the industry then invest, there are only 3 ways to do that.

1.) read all you can, learning everything from the lingo to the sxams people try to pull on CDL drivers.

2.) get your CDL and drive for a short while.

3.) pay a driver, o/o specifically to ride with them for a month to learn the industry.

then revisit your idea, if you still want to go forward with it, form a plan then come back and discuss it with a better understanding of what you want and how you want to get there.
