Suck it up and go… They’re offering you a job and training you for it sometimes you’re gonna take the the bad with the good…

 

Problem with Greyhound is, people steal your luggage that's in the compartment underneath the passenger compartment.
Every time that bus stops you won't know if someone is stealing your belongings.
Carry minimum amount and keep it in your lap or on the floor by your feet.

Maybe buy the one way plane ticket ? Can’t cost too much for a one way ticket.

 

You will meet your share of weirdos and dirt bags as soon as you start driving, so taking a trip on the greyhound should be a good way to get your feet wet.
