Hi everyone. I was in custody for 2 months in 2010 for expired US visa, but nothing of criminal matter ever. Currently I'm all set with my immigration papers. Wondering if I might have difficulties finding a job after graduating? Does anyone know?
I was in detention. Problems of finding job expected?

I think you will be okay. Companies have a list of hiring requirements and your situation is not one of them.

I see you all is from OHIO. Well, let me tell you this, we don't like Yankees down here in Dixie. I being in Georgia as we speak. You just haul your Yankee as s back across the Mason Dixon line where it belongs.
We all were immigrants at one time. The last of my lines came to this country before it was a country in 1775. One of the things that I like to do while trucking is family research. It is fun seeing the sites where my family lived 200 years ago.
The only problem I can see for you MIGHT be in getting a haz-mat. I do not know what the Government does for that. I personally had no problem and I am a Felon. I was turned down for a FAST card. Canada doesn't want me.
Welcome to trucking.
