Dedicated reefer preferably. Or something regional in the southeast areas. I've only done two loads from the far east to CA. So all my experience is on the east side of the US. If I could do long hauls like that for a living. I'd love it lol.

How much experience do you have?
Do you live in Louisiana or which state?

A lot of companies will reimburse you for school costs.Might be strings attached but you'll have a job and some expenses of school returned to you.I think Lynden is $4,000 or $4,500 but I'm not sure.

I got my state CDL in 1988.I had my own business and was grandfathered in,no road test needed, only written tests.I also had a US Govt Operators license with Commercial TT.There was training and testing to get that.

I have a squeaky clean record, no criminal charges, I’m an amateur athlete DOT physical shouldn’t be an issue. Never have drank or done drugs. I already have a school picked and paid for. I just wanted to make sure companies do in fact hire from Community Colleges. (I was told elsewhere they do not) it’s a 160 hour course that boasts placement of 95%

The school is Lincoln Land Community College, if anyone wanted to give input on that. Thanks for the input.

That school looks good. 160 hour course is good for most companies. Get all the endorsements also.

What type trucking do you want after graduation?
The school has job placement help, but we can also help with companies the school may not be aware of.

I would like to do flatbed, I think it seems like I would be able to stay more active. Maybe I’m wrong?
