I was stopped by DOT other day in Ohio..... im curious

I keep my wife in the passenger seat

 

I used to run the mail from Minneapolis to NYC. I took it as far as Ft Wayne and handed it off to a team, and took their trailer back to MPLS. Team comes in 1 day (this was back in the early 2000s) and said they got stopped 5 times coming across US30 in Ohio that day. He finally asked the last cop for a "Ive been screwed with (not exactly the word he used) for 1 day" sticker for his truck...

 

I have tried to teach people about being overly prepared and having nothing to hide as an advantage but it has fallen on many of deaf ears. Quickly producing what was needed and having more to offer in reserve has benefited me many times.
