In CRE’s case that actually would be plausible since supposedly some of their trucks have 3 bunks!!lmao

Yes, some of their training trucks have 3 bunks, several of them have become the cornerstone of BYOB&CBD's Tri-fecta lease program. That's where you and 2 of your friends :3some::Transportation costshare the lease payment and profits of a decked out Freightliner Cascadia!

truck drivers didn't get fat from lack of exercise. It's food choices, period.

I lived in the truck for 14 months doing OTR and did gain a little weight, probably due to lack of exercise. However, all my clothes still fit comfortably, and my BMI is in the normal range. Oh and I have been obese before so I can speak to weight loss and such.

People get fat from what they choose to eat (there are always exceptions of course).

Food is often one of the very few comforts you have on the road and it's easy to eat and get "Thanksgiving Day" full every time you have a hard day or feel lonely or feel ignored by the world. You cannot eat enough to fix any of those problems. Also, drivers not carrying any food in the truck can easily be tempted to eat every time they stop for some other reason since they may not know if there will be food when they need to stop. It's also easy to eat by the clock AND eat for stress relief. Also, the very unstable sleep patterns and the stress of traffic all combine to make it easy to make bad choices.

If you don't eat it you don't have to walk 10 miles to burn off that bacon cheese burger.
