If you've been on the forum since 2012, how is it POSSIBLE you ended up at CR ENGLAND driver?

 

Even their own rap group hates CRE by now.

 

It was like that when I went there nar 14 years ago.

I think they actually had a good idea, I mean these are people with 0 invested, they get housed, fed, schooled, trained, and employed.

I'm sure their are some that turned things around for themselves.

 

I did it when I started. I'm sure it was way different back then.

Paper logs for one thing.

I ran team loads as a solo. Did that for like 10 weeks, until I was so tired I couldn't see strait. I was already getting to be an old man.

But I made a ton of money. I could see the only way was to team, then train, so I got out after about 4 months from the time I actually got on a truck with a trainer.

Based on what I saw in a lot (won’t say who’s) a bunch

I drive by the yards of 4 mega carriers during one of my regular deliveries. There are a lot of gently used 2018 trucks sitting there, waiting to be adopted again.

I will say this. I’ve talked to a LOT of lease drivers. And if you listen long enough, you understand exactly why they failed.

 

When I went to their outside school, it was in Clarksville Indiana.

It was rough.

But we were housed at the Best Western. Free continental breakfast, and all the perks the regular guests got.

2 per room.

It was included in the cost of school.

I paid $1700 cash up front.

 

And they had babes. No one can deny that.

 

yeah, i never went to CR, but other companies, where they put us up in a motel nearby, 2 to a room as well.
