Yea, at the VA I constantly hear stories in the smoking room how heart patients go chase women they aint had now that the equiptment has been proper fixed.

Ive thought about that. FYI I go get a trans exam with a 3D image every few years on the table. I do not like it. But it has to be done. Ive been told Im a battleship heart, but with a couple bad parts easy to fix. Just the matter of... 30 to 50K please.

Then I think about my age and my life consider it well spent not really wanting to go another 40 years on parts with possibly a warranty. It would tickle me to see them fix me proper to pass a DOT medical again. Wouldnt that be a kick...

I talked to an old like 70ish driver that drove here (Crete) for years and he had to do a sleep apnea test,
He lost his medical card because his blood oxygen level was way too low. He smoked his whole life and had the thick wrinkled skin to prove it, but he wasn't fat, I don't know why he got tested.
He was beyond pissed off about losing his job, who knows how long he had to live.
I found out yesterday my blood oxygen level is 97%, most excellent.
    Sorry about your steak Dave

Oh he has to take meds everyday, and there is no more beer drinking, carousing, etc., but he is much better. Dunno why he had that, he's a big dude, not fat buffed, was anyway, oh we used to have some lol fun, never asked if he did roids, maybe who knows, but he was to where he couldn't even walk at a normal pace for even 100 yards or so. I think I'd need to be about there before I'd want someone cracking my chest, and even then, I'd have to consider very carefully maybe its just time to go see The Man, that's just me.

Blessing in disguise for that old man...

Now, He can sit at home and watch jeopardy and the News all day collecting his social security and 401k/pension from Crete- While you Young Guns hit the highway 14 hours a day.

Im led to understand they can discard the old adult teeth, heal the gums then drill into bone to install what is essentially computer generated copies of teeth from metals alloy into preinstalled threads inside the jawbone and upper mandible. Once done it stays with you pernamently.

I think about the Vets constantly. We lose so many so fast daily. And the stories that are lost with them. Some of them made trucking what it is today for us all.

I remember a old flatbedder, tossing chain like 90 plus talking to me about the joys of the B model Macks. I learned some things from him.

But could not believe how wrinkly he was and doing the same work I was doing that day. It was amazing. I don't know if he is doing it to be lucky or doing it because he is too stubborn to pass from our paradise on earth.
