Hello everyone i just got my cdl a license and i did apply for swift and cream o land both companies called me and i went for the cream o land because i will be home daily the problem is i will be driving straight box truck and i really want to drive tractor trailer so my question is will working as straight box delivery truck driver will be considered as experience if i apply to a trailer position with another companie .
i will be driving straight box truck, is it considered experience?

It won't count as 18 wheeler experience, but 18 wheeler companies will hire you and put you through some type of training program. Your question has been on here many times.

US foods hires for driver trainee anyone with less than 6 months experience. Check Mclane too. If you have all endorsements you can apply to ODFL, ESTES or XPO. FxF wants 1 year experience, but they are hurting for drivers so you can give them a shot too.
