Me personally, I would stop to see if any injuries and try to help, if possible. If there are injuries, just possibly I could help. Even though I'm not a medical trained person. If I was in an accident and injured, I would greatly appreciate anyone helping me until rescue showed up. But that's me.....FYI, on the hijacked plane that crashed on 9/11 in the field in Pa. I would have been one of the passengers who went with the handful up to the ####pit to try to save our lives, NOT one of the $#&%* who just sat in their seats doing nothing. Remember the words ? "Lets roll"
I witnessed a crash and just kept going. Should I have stopped?

Good Samaritans have been sued for trying to help. It's not uncommon at all. The injured persons lawyer sues the Good Samaritan for not being a qualified medical professional and thus made the injury worse.

^^^^ I agree, but in a life or death situation, we make quick decisions. Would you pull an alive person from a burning car to save him from certain death ?

I'd have stopped. I know I'd never live with myself if I found out someone died and its possible I could have changed the outcome.

If you stop, just be careful. Make sure police marks you as a witness. Don't leave without talking to police first.
